National Survey on Barriers to Disputing & Blocking Coerced Debt
In January, 2025, the Coerced Debt Working Group conducted a national survey of attorneys, advocates, and programs to assess barriers survivors and advocates face in disputing and obtaining blocks on coerced debt from credit reporting agencies. This data file shared data, viewable by region and population served, to inform comments to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's request for comments.
