CSAJ’s Innovation Exchange Part 1
The Innovation Exchange marks the launch of the National Policy Platform for Survivor Economic Equity. The Platform, co-created through a Collective Learning process and with the leadership of a Survivor-Advocate Advisory Board, identifies a set of values, five policy priority areas, and sixteen policy recommendations. Together, they describe what equitable economic policy should look like to support survivors’ long-term options for safety.
In this two-part virtual series, we will share survivor-driven policy recommendations, foster connections for organizing and advocacy, and uplift a survivor-advocate values-oriented policy-making process.
Participants will engage in interactive discussions, share their state and national emerging policy interests, learn about current policy and organizing initiatives, and contribute to the selection of top policy areas, determining a national policy and research agenda.
