Knowing how and when to ask survivors about very personal issues like money is challenging, yet we know safety and economics go hand-in-hand for survivors. This quick-guide provides a framework for effectively asking questions about money with survivors and integrating economics into the DNA of your advocacy. It walks through 3 phases of advocacy:

1) ways to gather initial information via intake, screening, or issue-spotting,
2) approaches to ongoing, fuller assessment, and 3) tips for targeted and longer-term advocacy with links to additional resources.
