On March 23, 2017, webinar participants understood the 7 identified race equity tools and their origin in the mind sciences and learned how the tools have been used to transform advocacy in other arenas. Faculty described how the tools might be applied to the survivor community and how to use complex systems analysis to reconceptualize race and power as they unfold in the community and how to fashion race-conscious remedies. Participants engaged with each other about challenges and benefits of adopting this race equity approach.
